| Reed switch usually consists of a pair of flexible reeds made of a magnetic material, and sealed in a glass tube filled with inert gas. The reeds are overlapped but separated by a small gap , this kind is called normally open. There are three contacts for the normally open and closed reed switch.Compared with general mechanical switch, It has the advantages of simple structure, small size, high speed and long working life. Compared with the electronic switch, it has the characteristics of strong resistance to load impact and high reliability.
