Product Usage

Centrifugal switch, installed on the single-phase motor rotor, serial connected in the starting circuit. When starting, the centrifugal switch conducts and the motor rotates. When a certain speed is reached, the centrifugal switch is disconnected, the starting circuit is cut off, and the starting is completed.

The Application Guide of YC-XXX series Electronic Centrifugal Switch

1. Wiring diagram of YC series electronic centrifugal switch(Notice: positive rotation, only need adjust/change the main winding of motor)

1. Setting of motor speed point break (setting of YC series electronic centrifugal switch)

1. Please ensure the correct connection of the electronic centrifugal switch, for details please refer to the above corresponding electronic centrifugal switch wiring diagram.
2. Please ensure the motor’s rated voltage and rated frequency and comply with the voltage scope of the selected electronic centrifugal switch.
3. Please ensure the pressure drop is not higher than 5% when staring motor (best to use High power frequency conversion power supply).
4. Please ensure the load of motor is under no-load situation.
5. Electrify the motor and run for 5 seconds to finish the setting. (ie: the electronic centrifugal switch would read the motor electric parameter automatically, set the motor speed point break as 75% and save it permanently). Its normal to have big vibration during setting process, please don’t block out the power supply.
6. After finishing the above setting process, the motor can be run normally.

Notice:
Please bear in mind to follow the above introduction steps after electrifying the electronic centrifugal switch.
Please don’t use switch which is set to different motors and don’t change the parameter of motor set which might lead to switch defects.
For switch which is set, if in case of motor parameter changed or used in other motors, please delete the data in the switch firstly (for details please refer to the data delete process of electronic centrifugal switch), then finish the setting of other motors’ speed point break according to the above setting process.
